Praise the Lord!!
For those of you that are reading this and are considering partnering with me in the endeavor to be a beacon life for hurting people and also those who currently live in darkness. As many of you know size does matter because the more man power, prayers, finances, and resources you have the greater the impact can be made in our communities. There must be a joy when it comes to serving and the way to make that happen is unity through humility.
This ministry is based on a wonderful scripture found in Philippians 2:1 that says "Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and sympathetic? (NLT version) I need an army of encouragers that will help me answer the questions in that verse. Many people even Christians live only to make a good impression on others or to please themselves. Paul therefore stressed spiritual unity, asking the Philippians to love one another and to be one in spirit and purpose. When we work together, caring for the problems of others as if they were our problems, we demonstrate Christ's love and experience unity. |
